Fall textbooks are due back to the bookstore by Dec. 20th. Failure to return these textbooks will result in late fees.

Textbook buyback is May 16th - 18th from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Sell your books for cash at the bookstore in the Student Center.

The mission of the Taft College Bookstore is to provide exceptional service to the students and the surrounding community of Taft College. Our staff, through teamwork and technology are dedicated to personal service and support, thereby gaining the trust of our customers. Our goal is to provide the goods and services needed to further the educational growth of the students and community.
Our Objective
The objective of the Bookstore is to provide a friendly and pleasant shopping experience and an accessible environment for all students and the community. The Bookstore supports this objective by providing tools necessary for learning excellence, an inviting place to shop, good customer service and individual assistance to customers. In addition to servicing the student population the Bookstore supports the departmental needs of all staff on campus.
Owned & Operated
The Taft College Bookstore is an institutionally owned retail establishment operated by Taft College and the West Kern Community College District as a service to students, staff, management, faculty, alumni and the community with the purpose of making available educational materials and support items. The bookstore is located in the Taft College Student Center. The Bookstore operates five days a week and is closed on weekends, holidays and Fridays during the summer.
